A new leading name to reflect our leading service and items
MORECAMBE, ENGLAND, February 02, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — For years now, Steam Shower Store has been the UK’s leading stockist of luxury home-spa appliances. Now, however, the much-loved brand is being rebranded to https://posh.co.uk. The change will allow the company to move away from being a pure “shower cabin and spa store” and develop further into delivering its current success in other forms of home luxury items.
All bathroom items will remain
The team at Posh remains committed to respecting the legacy of Steamshowerstore.co.uk . Posh will stock everything Steam Shower Store used to offer. It will also update its range promptly if suitable new products come on the market. This is more than just nostalgia or pleasing established customers. Andrew Ellis (MD) sees this as key to his business’ future growth.
As he explains “Over recent years, bathrooms have gone from being the most overlooked rooms in the home to being one of the key features in a home. This development started long before the events of 2020. Since then, however, even more, people have come to appreciate the benefits of having access to wellness facilities in their own home.”
Although the pandemic is, thankfully, drawing to an end, Andrew Ellis believes that the desire for luxury home-spa appliances will continue to grow. In fact, he believes that, ultimately, they’re going to become the standard. He sees this as a logical progression in bathroom design, reflecting how people’s lifestyles have changed since indoor bathrooms became commonplace.
The range of other homewares has expanded
Like many companies, Steam Shower Store grew slowly over time. When it began, it really was just a place to buy steam showers. (More accurately it was one of a handful of places where people could actually buy steam showers). Later it added whirlpool baths and then saunas and then finally a range of goods for the bathroom.
It was this step that prompted Andrew Ellis to start thinking seriously about stocking a broader range of homewares. While he still sees plenty of room for growth in the bathroom niche, the fact remains that this is still a very small and specialist niche. The reality was, therefore, that he had to make a choice between staying small and going for continued growth.
He chose to go for growth but very careful growth. His intention for Posh is that it will follow much the same path as its ancestor Steam Shower Store. By this, he means that all goods on offer will be carefully curated so that Posh is always offering maximum value for the lowest possible price.
Luxury regular people can afford
As Posh is focussing on luxury homewares, its prices are unlikely ever to be the cheapest online (or in the real world). Andrew Ellis is fine with this as are his customers. At the end of the day, as he points out, if you want quality you need to be prepared to pay for it.
Notwithstanding this, however, Andrew Ellis believes that Posh does offer outstanding value for money. He is also committed to offering the very highest levels of customer service. In particular, it has a freephone telephone number staffed by a team in the UK.
