Poignant lyrics combine with compelling pop beats in original single
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 31, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ — “Sober”, the new single from chanteuse/songwriter Ann Taylor proves she’s as versatile as she is talented. Laced with rawness and pain, “Sober” will resonate with anyone who’s ever watched a loved one struggle with addiction or felt powerless in the face of destruction. Ann layers this important message into a perfectly composed musical package that appeals to a wide audience.
“Sober” marks a departure from Ann’s singer/songwriter beginnings and adds elements of electronic and pop stylings to her vulnerable lyrical palette. The track was written and composed by Ann and Matt DiMaulo, produced by Jesse Epp and Matt DiMaulo, who also engineered the track. The project was recorded at Illium Audio Ltd in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
“Ann Taylor is one of the most passionate people I have met, and is willing to put her entire soul into her music,” says frequent collaborator and fellow musician Shane Fortier of his experience working with Ann.
She takes every opportunity to make music. In addition to working with other artists regularly, Ann is a member of the music collective “Plus”. “Plus” has allowed her to expand her musicality into other genres and experiment with finding her own unique sound.
Ann is currently hard at work prepping for the debut of her album that will be released on December 8th, 2017. In 2018, look for more music from Ann as she’s also working on multiple projects set for release within the upcoming year. She’s beyond excited to share her new works with her loyal fans.
